About the owner:

Hello, I’m Sarah, a geologist born and raised in North Carolina. My inspiration for Ionic Brews comes from the intersection of my love of travel, geology, and the pursuit of perfect cups of coffee and tea.

Coffee and tea are daily rituals for me, starting with a Colombian roast in the morning and English Breakfast in the afternoon.

I found tea tasted much better in the UK, and discovered the composition of their water is richer in certain elements like calcium and magnesium that improve tea and coffee extraction.

Whatever I’m doing, I’m seeking a way to do it better and so I decided to mix different salts to mimic the ideal water chemistry for extracting coffee and tea flavors. And now, you can benefit from my obsession for the perfect cup!
